The Chapel Bridge :
Constructed in first half of the 14th century as a part of the city's fortifications and named after St. Peter's Chapel, which is located nearby.
The Water Tower :
This octagonal tower - over 34 meters high (111.5 ft.) - was built around 1300 as part of the city wall and used as an archive, treasury, prison and torture chamber.
It is Lucerne's landmark and the most frequently photographed monument in Switzerland.
Lion Monument
«The dying Lion of Lucerne» is one of the world's most famous monuments.
It was carved out of natural rock in memory of the heroic deaths of the Swiss mercenaries at the Tuileries in 1792. Mark Twain described the Lion of Lucerne as the saddest and most moving piece of rock in the world.

Transfer for half day excursion to Mt Pilatus.

The first written reference to Mount Pilatus was made in the 13th century. But Celtic herdsmen already inhabited the extensive heights in much earlier times.
But the real story of Mount Pilatus began with the completion of the Gotthard route. Suddenly, not only local people stood at the foot of Lucerne's "own" mountain, but also travellers from the whole of the then-known world.
The panorama gondolas take around 30 minutes to glide up the first section from Kriens/Lucerne to Fräkmüntegg at the foot of the mighty Mount Pilatus.
The aerial cableway takes around five minutes to carry visitors from the station at Fräkmüntegg up to Pilatus Kulm at 2132-metres altitude. In good weather, the unique views of the Alps and Central Switzerland's lakeland landscape are simply stunning.

Farewell party at restaurant Zeughauskeller.
In 1927 the old armoury (Zeughaus) on the Paradeplatz was converted into a beer

the conversion, and even the original construction materials were used so that the
structural character of the former armoury remained exactly as it was. The large tables
contribute to creating a sociable atmosphere and a special culinary experience,
whereby conversations are often struck up between strangers. In the Zeughauskeller
restaurant, groups of regulars meet from all walks of life and from all over the world.
